I am a passionate medical doctor with a BSc in Cardiovascular Science, looking to transfer my knowledge to my students. I am currently working as Lead in A-level Science at an Outstanding school and as a UCAS mentor at the University of Greenwich;. I am an academic with 16 years teaching experience in the private sector as well as public.
I have a vast amount of experience through being a Science Teacher and Lead. This role has allowed me to motivate and challenge pupils, enhance understanding through variations in pedagogy, and promote scholarship and self-directed learning as well as effective classroom management. I am also the Key Stage 5 Science Co-ordinator, this gives me an immense advantage with my students, as I am aware of what is being covered in the curriculum. Through my array of experience teaching as well as creating Schemes of Work for Key Stage 5, I am confident of the assistance I can provide my students.

I am an incredibly experienced, dedicated and hard-working qualified teacher, gaining my PGCE from Kings College London. My aims are to propels my students knowledge, understanding and academic achievement. Through my resourcing, discussion and activities, my students will undoubtedly achieve greatness.
I have an immense experience through working at a secondary school over the span of 16 years. Through this, I have learnt how best to utilise effective methods of teaching. My specialism is Mathematics as my Master’s degree is in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I am also the Key Stage 5 A-Level Mathematics Co-ordinator. This role has added to my expertise and improved my teaching practices even further.

I am a current PhD student and Graduate with an MBA, MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, obtained from the University of Greenwich as well as BSc in Chemistry. I also have extensive practical work experience across a number of Secondary Schools. Furthermore, I obtain a track record of success in meeting school objectives whilst performing multiple tasks concurrently; capable of working alongside many students with differing abilities.
I encompass many years of teaching and tutoring experience. Employed as a Science teacher in a secondary school, has successfully added to my proficiency and allowed me to improve my teaching practices and make them even more effective. As well as that, I have been tutoring students from years 7 to A-level. Through this role, I am able to effectively plan highly targeted lessons for my students, where support is provided for learners who need to overcome barriers, focusing on an individual-centred approach. I also incorporate progress tracker and learning criteria’s in order to equip my students with attainable, concrete academic targets.
